Free Audiobooks Make Exercise Easier

Score 10 free classic audiobooks from Audible and Amazon to listen to while you exercise! ($260.38 value!) Here's how...

I’ve been a member of Audible for years, although I don’t still pay a monthly fee. It’s been years since I’ve purchased anything from them — but my library is still all there, waiting for me.

Today, I decided it was time to add walking to my “get in better shape” plan. Not that I’m going to walk today — I have to PREPARE for such things. I’ll start walking TOMORROW. But in the meantime, I downloaded the Audible App for Android to my phone and downloaded the first part of War and Peace (something I’ve been meaning to read for years, but never have). I bought it years ago.

Tomorrow morning, I’ll be donning my favorite bluetooth headset, stick my droid in my pocket, and head out the door to get a little nature walk in before I begin my workday.

Why? Because all my work on creating a simple wardrobe and eating healthier, simple food has encouraged me to want to be happier with the shape my body is in (and this isn’t going to happen all by itself, apparently). I’ve shed a few pounds in the last two months with the high-protein, whole-food, low-processed approach to my meals and snacks, but that’s just making what’s left jiggle even more. I’m a baby when it comes to exercise, so I had to find a way to entertain myself during the walks. This should work.

If you want to get started (for free) doing the same thing, I found ten classic books over on Amazon that (once you purchase them for free as ebooks) offer the Audible version for free too!

So if you think the best way to lower your health care costs is to take better care of your health before issues arise — here is a free way to entertain yourself while you do it!

Audio books are WONDERFUL! While I love my Kindle books and still have a longstanding romance with paper books the audio world is great. Sometimes it’s hard for me to sit still and read – I’ve used audio books to exercise with (great distraction as I, too, am an exercise baby), to do chores with (cleaning, ironing), pass a long drive with and other uses that I’m still discovering. In fact, I’ve found that some books I can’t make myself sit and read are glorious in the audible version! I’m right there with you on the audibles!
