Great Simple Living Tips for College-Bound Freshmen

College Bound Freshmen Moving Tips

Last weekend my daughter and I spent some time talking about her future. She’s a high school senior this year and time is whizzing by!!! We had a “girl weekend” at the farm watching movies, eating junk food (I’m back on the wagon this week, after a particularly long fall off the health eating path), and discussing her future and all the possibilities it holds.

We talked colleges, financial aid, first apartments, career options, areas of study, the importance of not letting “senioritis” grab her, etc. We also talked about (*surprise*) how much easier her next few years would be if she traveled light and simplified as much as possible. She’s doing a great job of paring down and looking forward. She’s kind of awesome, if I do say so myself, and has a great attitude going into her senior year and is quite excited.

Then, this week, I am over on Facebook and I see a post by a friend’s daughter that piqued my interest.

This friend is a high school classmate of mine, and he has a brilliant and beautiful daughter who posts videos on YouTube. I’ve seen a few of them before this one, but this one in particular hit me as something my living small, simple life enthusiast readers might enjoy (or might enjoy sharing with people who are headed to higher education for the first time).

So, considering this time of the year and with the conversations I just had with my own daughter, I decided to share it with my readers. So, here you go:
